‘Death by a thousand paper cuts’ is one of my favourite sayings at the minute
Not exactly an uplifting quote
But hey – For the most part It describes how we get to where we do
It’s easy to think we end up somewhere over night and like I said the other day
Sometimes we do.
BIG things happen and knock us
But many times we also end up places through the Momentum of our daily choices, thoughts, actions etc
It wasn’t one thing that lead us to waking up looking in the mirror and realising we are way out of shape
Or one thought that has lead us to waking anxious each day of our lives
One frustration that lead to feeling like our head is going to blow up at any point in a day
Very often it’s just the accumulation of that time after time…
The repetition of all those small things leading to one big thing
And Understanding that allows us to see that the answer isn’t found in one thing either
One big action isn’t going to improve our situation no more than one terrible thought is going to impact our brain
It’s found in the daily small moment by moment stuff that we can control..
The small tweaks.
Now that isn’t sexy is it?
It requires some work and patience, two things that aren’t easy..
But we see massive improvements in people’s lives in just 30 days of consistent, progressive training..
And the real kicker for all this is
When we see that it’s not just the one miracle thing we need
We kinda stop looking for it. And that alone takes the pressure off us of needing to find that ‘one thing’
We stop LOOKING for change and START making a change and that means we start to see the small changes we ARE making
And that builds confidence and a new momentum that takes us to where we want to be..
Most don’t make changes because they keep looking for it.
Small
Progress.
Practical
Training
It’s what we do here..
And it works
Si
